it has been 6 days and still no return call from sam. after the dinner debacle, i gave him a day to think then called to see if everything was okay. i left him a message on his voice-mail. on saturday, i ran into the hostess from the dinner party and she asked how "we", sam and i, were doing. i explained the situation and somehow she saw my side of the story. i thought maybe she might talk some sense into sam. alas, there is still no word. i am done with sam, not worth my effort any longer. there could of been something but no more. i am going to get laid.

Sam is a grown man. It's a shame that he can't act like one. It's not your fault. You didn't do anything to make HIS friend proposition you. But this whole incident goes to his judgment and not yours. You're doing the right thing. I'm sure he'll call you after a while when it is too late.
