its friday and im back from vacation. i just had a long day of work so i don't know how good this will be.

fact #1 i am not a computer game player, but i love the Sims 2.

fact #2 i own 15 bikinis. yes i know its a lot but i just like to look good on the beach.

fact #3 love stories on television or in movies make me sick. i can't remember a time where there someone had the perfect speech to say to me. i think it deludes people into a false sense of love.

fact #4 i have had 2 serious relationships in my life. they just never worked out.

I Hate Fake Apologies!

this post has nothing to do with my vacation other than i am taking a break from being in the heat so i came in to check the news and my e-mail. I very briefly touched on this in a post a while ago. today, i look at the USA Today and see that Duke paid off those three guys so they wouldn't sue. curiosity got the best of me so i go to Duke's homepage to see what the real statement from the university was.

now if you read this statement, it doesn't say that they apologize for helping making those three students life hell. they say they are paying them off to prevent a future civil suit against the university. if you read the public statement, Duke did nothing wrong to these students. it was all the rogue prosecutor. why would Duke have to give those students money then? the answer is simple they helped that prosecutor along. they made him feel like he was doing the right thing. they suspended those kids from school, they canceled the lacrosse season, they fired the coach, and i'm sure a couple more things to make these students life hell. Duke University did a knee jerk reaction that helped ruin those students life and they don't have the decency to apologize or admit that they did wrong in public. how dare they! those three guys should of said they wanted a public apology admitting what the university did and how they were wrong. then they should of told them no secret, undisclosed settlement. how could those guys let them off so easy?

i guess my point in this whole post is take responsibility for your actions. when you are wrong, say you fucked up and mean the apology. the only reason Duke is sorry because they knew the members of the board and university president were going to be hammered in court. the other thing to take out of this is resist the knee jerk reaction. this is all too evident in this world today. look at our government, they rush to pass the "Patriot" Act. an act that violates our civil liberties and everyone knows it. what makes it worse after everyone complains that it violates our civil liberties, the congress (republican and democrats) vote to keep it when it comes for renewal. there is an apology this country needs and deserves. (i'm sorry for bringing politics into this, i try to keep it out of the blog.)

Day 4 and 5

this is going to be somewhat quick because i am next for the shower before we go out. miami has been fun other than the clouds and rain. we have been out every night dancing and such. i have behaved myself thus far no spring break like experiences. i know i disappoint you with this admission. i do have one little funny tidbit for you. i am walking in the room this morning after eating breakfast when i hear noise in the bathroom. i wait a moment and then i recognize this noise as moaning. when i left the room, i didn't really pay attention how many people were in the bed, so i figure it is my friend in the shower masturbating. i go to my computer and check my email. i am writing a letter to my mom when my friend and a guy walk out of the bathroom. i had no idea that there was another person in the room when i left for breakfast. more on this later.

Day 3

Day 2

Day 1

we left on time today, what a freaking miracle. i thought for sure i would be waiting for her to get up and around. we took our turns driving down. i usually don't let others drive my car but i wasn't about to drive 12 or 13 hours without a long ass break. we made it down to fayetteville in north carolina. tomorrow will be another long day of driving but i will be in miami tomorrow so i don't really care. i think on my way home i am going to count every waffle house i see along I-95. i have never been in one or have i heard of one but there is a lot of them. i am assuming they sell waffles. i might have to eat at one on this vacation, so if i go missing you know its from food poisoning from the waffle house. lol.

now for some housekeeping. a disgruntled reader seems to think i have no right to post e-mails he sends me on the website. for those of you new to this blog or haven't read the past entries, i have since the beginning of this blog taken things from the mails i get to write this blog. for my entries, i take from my life, the news, your e-mail and comments. some of these are good examples and some are bad. i do not call you names, post your e-mail address, or encourage others to make fun of you. if you can not handle the idea of one of your e-mails being posted, there is a real simple solution. DON'T SEND THEM! i do not seek to embarrass you. i take things that inspire me.

Vaction Time

tomorrow, i start my road trip to miami. the idea is to get up early and head out. i don't know about my friend but i am capable of doing this. hopefully, we will be in my car and on the road at 630 in the morning. the plan is to get down there in 2 days. if things go as planned, we should be stopping in north or south carolina for the night.

it makes me think on how we treat homosexual or bisexual people in this country. neither men or women of this nature are accepted by all. people can't see past the activity to the people beneath the surface. this being said, there is a double standard. women of a bisexual or homosexual lifestyle are more widely accepted in this country than men. it is too simplistic to say that it is the whole male fantasy with two women. not every woman that does sexual things with other girls is a model. you have people like rosie o'donnel, etc ... . there has to be another reason. I don't know what it is but i want to know what it is. do you have any thoughts on the subject?

Moved

here i sit in the middle of no where in pennsylvania. i am borrowing my neighbors unsecured wifi to write this post. i have all that i can do done here. i went out running today. there are some nice places to run but i am always a little concerned on running on back road type places. cars always go too fast and the danger of getting hit is there. we have a pool here too. i was the first person here yesterday so i took the opportunity to jump in before anyone else.

tomorrow i head back to boston to stay with my good friend and work on monday. i am driving down to miami on thursday. yes, you heard me right, driving. i love road trips and that is how i am treating it. in my opinion, the most interesting and funny things happen on road trips. you get those real gut laugh moments in the time spent on the road.

The Move

the movers come tomorrow to start packing stuff for the big move. the official day is friday but my family has so much stuff that it will take a while to pack it all. as of this moment, i have four bags of stuff that i am taking in my car and will be used to live out of until the end of july. yes, my family and stuff is moving to another state but i am living out of bags. i am staying in boston until the end of july so i can work and save some money. i will miss my wonderful city of boston when i do officially leave. this is the only place i have lived and it is hard to leave. it is sleepy time, i will post something more significant tomorrow.

Just Plain Creepy.

i had the pleasure of getting a couple e-mails on my myspace page. here is the first message i received.

i am leaving the name and such out of this because i don't want anyone to retaliate toward this person. i had more than a couple questions running through my head at this point. i don't think i ever invited these kind of proposals or requests. if anything, i am pretty sure i have tried to get the point to those with these ideas it won't happen. i was content at leaving the message alone and moving past it. however, i got another message from the same person today. it reads:

i saw this article recently on the percentage of success a man has when asking a woman to dance or for her number. i never really thought about the way i flirt and the way guys flirt with me before and how many times it works. my thoughts are it would depend when the guy touched my arm. being a female, i can usually get away with touching at any point. however, i think if a guy touched me within the first ten seconds of talking with me, i would back away from him. i am curious as to how they approached the woman and got to the point of asking them. the arm touch does show confidence and aggressiveness. this is a turn on to me. i guess if you did this you would probably get me to dance. i doubt you would get my number though, i would get yours.

it's friday yet again. i hope you all had a good week at work, school, or whatever.

fact #1 there are very few movies i can watch at any given time. one of these movies is Love Actually. i could see it while going through the channels and i will stop and watch it.
