i had the pleasure of getting a couple e-mails on my myspace page. here is the first message i received.
Hi,
I was wondering if you'd be interested in a proposal I had: I'd be willing to pay you to fly over here to Australia (your airfare and accomodation) to see me, even if only for a few hours. I'm a normal, 25 year old guy, and would love to see you in person. I'm completely genuine. Let me know if this would interest you.
i am leaving the name and such out of this because i don't want anyone to retaliate toward this person. i had more than a couple questions running through my head at this point. i don't think i ever invited these kind of proposals or requests. if anything, i am pretty sure i have tried to get the point to those with these ideas
it won't happen. i was content at leaving the message alone and moving past it. however, i got another message from the same person today. it reads:
Hi Miss Wolfe. How about if I throw in $2,000 'spending money' in my offer? I'd be happy to show you a picture of myself to show that I'm genuine. Please get back to me before I change my mind :).
now, i am forced to deal with this situation. the whole situation is quite unsettling. the things i write about in my personal life are done because i want to not because these people are going to give me money, take me on trips, etc ... . i have never accepted money for sex and never will. it cheapens me and the suggestion or thought that i would do that diminishes me. if any of my readers ever have the idea cross your mind about doing something similar to this, do me and yourself a favor and forget you ever thought of it. you insult me and it makes you look like a desperate person (not very attractive). i am letting this person off easy from my initial response because i am being diplomatic. the next offer by anyone will not be diplomatic. i will make sure you regret making the offer. i promise you that your email, name and whatever else i can find will make its way to my page.
